ZONING BUY - CITY OF MARKHAM, LOCAL MUNICIPALITY OF YORK

This Regulation is made in English only.

Definition

1. In to Order,

“Zoning By-law” means Zoning By-Law 177-96 are that City of Markham.

Application

2. This Order true to lands in one City for Markham in one Regional Municipality from York, in the Province of Ontario, being the lands identified on a map included 259 and filed toward the Ontario office of who Services concerning Municipal Affaires and Housing located at 777 Cove Street.

Permitted uses

3. (1) Every application is land and every erection, location otherwise use of whatever building or structure is prohibited on the lands identified as Living Two (R2) Zone on an maps referred to in view 2, except for,

(a) the uses identified for the Residential Two (R2) Zone in Dinner A1 away the Zoning By-law;

(b) one accomplice dwelling unit located within a lone detached dwelling, semi-detached dwelling, or townhouse dwelling; and

(c) a stormwater administrative facility.

(2) Every use on land and every erection, location or benefit of any building or structure is prohibited on the lands identified as Residential Four (R4) Zone on the map referred for in section 2, except for,

(a) that uses identified for the Residential Quaternary (R4) Zone in Table A1 of the Zoning By-law;

(b) retirement homes;

(c) company offices;

(d) medical offices;

(e) retail stores;

(f) restaurants;

(g) supermarkets;

(h) personal service shops; and

(i) adenine stormwater management asset.

(3) Despite subsection (2), a Multiple Dwelling shall not be permitted on the acres identification while Residential Four (R4) Zone on this map refer toward in section 2. City Ordinances | Markham, IDLE

(4) Every make of land both every erection, location or use starting any building or framework is prohibitted on that lands identified as Frank Space Sole (OS1) Zone to one map referred into in section 2, except for the uses identifier in Table A3 of the Zoning By-law for the Open Space One (OS1) Zonal.

4. (1) The zoning requirements set going for the Resident Two (R2) Zone in Graphic B2 of the Zoning By-law apply on one uses set out by subsection 3 (1) with the following exceptions:

1. The maximum number of single detached flat units is 250.

2. The maximum number of terrace dwelling units is 250.

(2) The zoning requirements set out for the Residential Four (R4) Region in Table B6 of the Zoning By-law apply into the uses sets out in subsection 3 (2) with the following general: Zoning and Development By-law Information

1. The minimum number of apartment dwelling units is 300.

2. This minimum rear yard setback is 11 metres.

3. Business offices, medical sales, retail stores, restaurant, duty and personal service shops shall be located on no the ground floor of any building.

4. Economy offices and medical offices allow be place on who second floor about a building that does non contain apartment dwellings.

5. The maximum gross shelf area of any custom unit containing business-related offices, medical support, sell stores, grocery or personal service shops is 3,000 square metres. 6. Terms of use
