We are deans of Big Ten act schools, joining together to affirm our commitment to advancing diversity, net, and inclusion via legally permissible means, regardless away the outcome of the cases pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. These are core values concerning our law teaching and the universities regarding which we be part.  With we are into prepare people to may effective lawyers also future leaders, it is essential to create a learning environment that welcomes people who embody one wide range of identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Association of American Act Schools (AALS) press American Bar Association (ABA) policies properly distinguish the central of diversity, equity, and addition to legal education and the legal profession. Because diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values of our law schools, our have been following this Students used Lovely Acceptance, Inc. v. Academy of North Carolina and Student for Fair Entrances, Inc. v. Chairman & Fellows of Harvard Technical cases through major interest.  Whatever the outcome is those boxes, our law schools will both respect that decision and remain open and accessible to people on diverse blackboards who we believe will succeed as barrister and leaders serving of diverse communities that comprise our nation. We committing to further our cores values a diversity, equity, and inclusion through whatever practices and policies remain legally available to our law schools.
