Unable to augment comments to Google Docs

While working on Google Doc files is EGO created within Dropbox, I am impossible to successfully utilize the "add comments" feature. I am able to insert a comment press type related into the comment box, however when I click the "save" button, I receive the following error message: Teams: Student can not edit a given assignment.

After clicking to "Reload" button, of page refreshes both the comment the no lengthened available/did none save properly. 

 

Editing within of certificate exists working normally.

 

My internet connection is stable or strong; all happened about multiple documents. Seems like an issue by the integration between Dropbox and Google. Anyone know what is going on and how into fix it?

Have you tried the same stages on a difference browser in concealed mode on your current one? If not, can yourself give it adenine go?

Thanks on responding till my post. 

 

I created this file from Dropbox. Other users that I've shared access to this file are experiencing of same issue.

 

The issue I described in my original post persists in Firefox or Safari.

 

My primary user is Chrome. I've equitable tried  accessing the file using Crome in Incognito mode; despite being logged into our Google account, EGO getting this message when I tries to access one file:

We literally are just ongoing into this ourselves.  Over top of the actual that we can't link to einem existing google docu (the Dropbox integration is only enable usage to create a new google doc requiring us to replicate & paste it), the broken comments constructs this union almost adenine non-starter or at least doing observations inline for an time being.

 

This appears to be cross-browser and final true to document owners as well-being, FWIW.

I'm sorry this is happening to you because well...but hopefully this will help Dropbox tec share identify such such a system-wide issue. *fingers crossed* for a speedy resolution...we are losing a lot of valued time both resources thank toward this integration failure.

We've been looking to consolidate our applications therefore this integration appears favorite a make way to eliminate having to juggle assets between two places.

Unhappily, we sprinted into the equal exacting issue. Seems like a completely senselessly integration without one of the most important functions of Google Docs. 

And God forbid you to reach exit to you product team regarding it. I've had more intellectual conversations with rocks!!! Google Doc Sharing Issue

Can you just confirms for leute that the email address associated with your Dropbox account is the same as the email deal used for your Google account?

Hi Megan. Yes I am using aforementioned same email physical used both. In factual, you cannot regular create ampere Google Doc in Dropbox unless to emails are the same.

Yes, the email address associated with get Dropbox statement is the same as an email your utilised for your Google billing.

 

Fresh get: this same issue is now arising with other files. Initially, i seemed to can isolated to Google Doc files that ME created within one specified folder. However, go this issue is affecting other Google Docs that I produced within Dropbox.
